“MUTI” is the South African word for medicine dispensed by the witch doctor and its the word that sums up Bar Muti perfectly. Owned and run by two friendly welcoming brits Collette and Karl who lived in Southern Africa for many years, their bar is a reflection of their time there – a little piece of Southern Africa on the main street of Concentaina. A quaint historical town, just forty five minutes drive from Alicante and an hour or so from Valencia.
After a couple of exhausting hours in the baking Spanish sun, Bar Muti is a great place to enjoy some ice cold medicine from beers to malt whiskies. Collette and Karl offer great conversation, a wide ranging menu of freshly cooked food from traditonal Spanish Tapas through to the full monty and Sunday roast and for those with a bigger appetite, the infamous Karl Burger. They also offer a wide range of music second to none. Name a favourite song and guaranteed Karl will find it in minutes.

The perfect place to spend a few hours sitting and chilling, chatting to the regulars, read a book, watch the football or grand prix or indulge in a lively session. So when your in Concentaina in need of some medicine, call into Bar Muti with your prescription. You won’t be disappointed.
And if Bar Muti doesn´t have the cure… feel free to visit any of the 40 or more great bars and restaurants that the town has to offer – from old school traditional to new and eclectic. The town will definitely have something to tickle your tastebuds!
